WHen u installing the alarm u have to put a key in a box of the viper alarm. My question is how does that work, how does putting the key in the box allow u to turn the car with remote

some new you need to key bypass you can use dei 556u universal bypass you need to put a key on this box not on alarm

The key goes in the bypass module and sends the transponder signal from the key to the receiver in the ignition itself.
