I have noticed a couple of post this past week that made start thinking about this:  Since I have never had a problem bypassing a passlock II anti-theft device, I could not answer this.  Does the Passlock II have a time out feature where if an invalid attempt to start the car is made, you cannot start the car for 10 minutes or so, like the VATS has?  I know the passlock I does not have this since I had a few problems with these, and I know the PK3, the Ford, and the Honda transponder based anti-theft devices do not have this, so I just assumed the passlock II did not have it.   I just started to think about this because two people in the past three days have said their car will not start remotely and that they have to wait 10 minutes before they can start it with the key, and they both had passlock II.  Since I always assumed that the passlock II did not time out like the VATS, my first reaction was that the problem these guys were having was not the passlock.  Someone has to know.
