Where can I purchase a blank Ford pats key (2006 taurus). I am hoping to have it before the weekend so that is why I do not want to buy it from ebay. Thank you for any ideas or links you can post. ------------- MECP certified (If it really means anything)

you could try a ford dealership. I know some 12V installation shops have them on hand, you might be able to see if they would sell you one.

You should be able to get one from your local Ford dealer without issue.
I would recommend using a PKF3 from bypasskit.com. I have had great success using these, they hookup via data so they are more reliable than the key in the box type bypasses and are less money than a new key and universal bypass.
I am sure someone here can get you one before the weekend if need be.

Thank you for the help. I will look into the PKF3. I have always used DEI with luck, not saying I wouldent change but if something works better why not. Would these bypasses hook into DEI reote starters? Thanks ------------- MECP certified (If it really means anything)

Yes they will work with all remote starts. They require a neg. input to activate as all others do also. The pkf3 works great.

Ford will rape you for these keys. You're much better off getting one on e-bay for around 10-15.00 or any local locksmith should have them too. Good luck :)

DEI lists the 556S as an option for the 2006 Taurus.
