I installed an aftermarket alarm on an 2000 Honda Accord.  everything works but the trunk release.  The wire from the alarm is (-)500mA but the honda wire is + at rest.  How do I hook this up?  Thanks

It is a white /red wire in the drivers kick panel. You will need to use a relay. The correct wire in the car should show 12V when you press the Honda oem remotes trunk release.

If you're at the driver's side fuse box, with your face positioned so that you can see the fuses......look down a little bit. There's a plug that's a little bit under the fusebox; the WHITE/ red is in there.

The instructions that came with your alarm should have wiring instructions for the relay.
