I installed a black widow z5 2 way pager alarm/autostart with a gm-sl (self learn)transponder bypass unit. When the vehicle is remote started,it seems as the auto transmission does not shift gears properly.works normal when ign key is used.
I have powered all the ign and accessories(pink, thin white, brown and orange wires)
What should i do next?Has anyone experienced a problem like this?
Thanks.

well pink should be first ign

white 2nd ign

orange accessory

the white wire may be crossed with the accs out instead of the true ign must remember true ign does not dip during crank like accs wire does thus causing the tranny not to power up properly check to make sure they are in right order this is common mistakeposted_image

Yes, make sure you have the 2nd IGN(white) powered during crank!

Yes..on late model GM trucks the trans will have problems if the 2nd ignition is not hooked up...It is white BUT at times it is Pink/white. You must dig through the igntion harness, look for these colored wires, verify, and make sure it's connected well.

Your trans problem will be fixed during RS
