I have the wiring diagram for my Montero Sport 02 but I can not locate the tach wire. Can anyone give me a little more detail as to where it is/what to look for?

| Tachometer | wht/blk or white | | coil or ignition module | | Notes: On the 2.4L, tach is wht/blk at the coil on the left front of the engine compartment. On the 3.0L and 3.5L it is white at the ignition module next to the coils on the right rear side of the engine compartment under the plastic motor cover. |

On the 02 Montero there is no plastic motor cover. I see the coils on the top of the engine but the only thing I can find that has a white wire is a 90 degree plug on top of the engine. It has a blue black and white wire coming out of it, is this it?

If you can see the coils...Just get the wire at one of them that is uncommon...
