I' m installing a security system on a 98 tahoe w/a keylees entry. My problem is that when I connect the lock/unlock wires to the head unit my door trigger locks will not function but the remote work just fine. I hear a clicking but no movement. At one point  I had everything working but blew a fuse on the C wire from the unit once i used the door triger locks. I've tried every combination to no avail. this is how it is cuurently connected:

C(Fused)- Lock wire...... *do I need to add a resistor?

NC- Constant 12v

NO- Ground

C1- Unlock

NC1- Constant 12 v

NO1- Ground

Also Do I need to do anything with the factory disarm (tan wire)

Thanks- Paul

Based on your description of the lock wires, the unit has built in relays. The wires that have the fuses on them go to 12v. These represent pin 87 on a standard relay. Now what you need is the wires that represent pin 30. (common) One will go too the lock wire, the other to the unlock wire. Use your meter to dtermin which is which.

LOCK Lt.blue In driver's kickpanel   +
UNLOCK White In driver's kickpanel   +

Thanks! I have it working... not sure if its right though. I just disconnected the No, No1 (ground) wires and it works???The fused wire(C) is connected to Lt. blue wire.
