Seems a lot (~$900 retail), people are saying it has extended range- one mile.

Take a look at DEI's Viper 5900, it has one mile range, at nearly $260 CAD store cost up here in Canada.

Only noticable difference is the remote, do you really need a scroll wheel for all these features? Dont know about you, but when my remote is beeping, I don't want to have to scroll through menu's to find out whats going on- i'd rather glance at the screen, and start running.

It has never been released, and may never be. There is a discussion abut it right now on DEI's dealer forum. One mod has said he has never seen a working unit.
