I recently installed a Crimestopper RS1303DP RS using a GMSL-2 bypass module in a 2003 Trailblazer using the Dataport method and I had some problems. I connected it up and programmed it according to the directions for the Dataport and everything functioned except the anti-theft bypass and the parking lights. When I connected it up according to the non-dataport method, everything worked fine. I tried a couple different units with the same result. Any ideas on what I was doing wrong?

I don't deal with Crimestopper, but any chance that the data port may only be compatible with Compustar unit only and not Crimestopper?
