I have an 2006 dodge ram 1500 reg. cab. Recently I purchased a remote start for it. I was wondering if anybody knows how I can get a wire diagram for this vehicle. Thank you in advanced.

PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle is equipped with TRANSPONDER chips in the ignition keys. This will need to be bypassed for Remote Starter installation. A keyless bypass module may be available, contact your distributor to find out. If one of these modules is not available to you, see the appropriate security diagram for bypass instructions.

I recommend that you do not install an alarm on this vehicle unless you are a very experienced installer. Heard too many horror stories on the new 06 pickups

i agree with topper, hell us experienced installers have had issues doing them, dealer service chaarges are too costly to have to pay to clear codes and crap if things go wrong ( and on these new dodges they do) worth the expense for an experienced installer to do.
also, has any other installers noted that different starter companies say different resisitors for acc. and 2nd starter, and some say relay isolate purple brown with relay and some dont? these damn engineers are over engineering vehicles to make themsleves seem useful! LOL
starting to really look like their mission is to get rid of us aftermarket guys with all this new b.s.
just my 20 yrs worth of 2 cents!
hell remember when all we installers had to hate was a vats car!
god i miss the past! LOL
