just had this installed in my jeep and having trouble with the 2-way transmitter. it worked for a days now wont work at all or able to program it too. the regular key fob works fine. the safety hood pin switch wasnt installed and wondering if this could be why. anyone know if the hood pin not being installed is the problem or something else?

Not having the hood pin won't affect it the way you describe. That will stop the remote start from remote starting if the hood is open and its instelled properly. Try taking the battery out of the remote and wait a few then re-install it.  Or take it back to were you had it installed and have them get it goin'....

Think your right b/c it was working. I brought my own kit i picked up and had it installed so the installer/dealer cant warranty it. kit was never installed before. sounds like the 2-way transmitter is bad. wondering how i can test it elsewhere or pick up a new or used one somewhere.
