I installed a RS/Keyless in this 07 Hyundai Santa Fe

The aftermarket keyless will not unlock the doors after it sits awhile. Now I know that the factory system falls asleep, But how do you wake it up???

I tried to pulse the ign with 12volts at the same time is unlock. This didnt work.

The other thing is that when the car is remote started the factory keyless wont work. (Like Toyota) Is there a way around this ?

One of these fixs will help me out.

Also is there is a wire diagram out for this car yet?

Thanks for the help....-Mike

What unlock wire are you using?
POWER UNLOCK       WHITE/ BLACK to WHITE (TYPE B)       IN DRIVERS KICK PANEL, 22-PIN WHITE PLUG

Power Unlock          LIGHT GREEN          (-)          POWER MASTER SWITCH IN DRIVERS DOOR
Try one, than the other to see if this fixes it.

Never worked with hyundai, cant comfirm if its possible to get factory remotes to work when remote started.

according to DEI lock is blue/black and unlock is gray/black negative trigger in drivers kick or BCM under drivers side dash by fuse box. factory alarm disarm is pink in drivers kick. maybe you have to pulse this to wake up the system after it sits? ive worked on 06's but no 07's and the wiring diagrams are different.

There is a position sensor wire in the drivers kick same plug as the lock/unlock wires that needs to be pulsed when you unlock the car. I forget what the colour is but it goes to ground when you unlock and open when you lock

What I found that works is to use the dis-arm wire for pink, and unlock on BOTH grey & grey/black.
Lock is blue/black. Re-arm is BROWN / orange. Just diode isolate the two greys and you'll be fine.

yeah the grey is the position sensor wire you can use arm and disarm for locks but unlock needs a double pulse
