Hi guys,
First of all i must say this site has been really helpfull, I have a huatai 2 way car alarm and remote starter system, i have done most of the wire, the only thing I need help with is the engine on signal wire.

My remote starter is not like any other starter that uses a tach wire, the wire looks for + 12 v from a ground. So basically when the engine is off it wants it to be -ve and when its on it wants it to be +ve, it asks me to connect it to a oil pressure light,

can any one help me locate the wire.

thanks a tonn in advance.

when the engin is running the oil pressure doesnt send 12v first of all... you need a circuit on the motor that only produces 12v while the ening is running... I have heard of this before, but good luck in a jeep..I suppose you could do it off the alternator or voltage regulator... why companies have to make products that really make NO sense, as far as the common installation practices is beyond me....
