need to install a remote starter on my wifes kia , yes kia really not a bad car. my problem is that factory alarm is fried. do i need to replace it before putting on a new remote starter/alarm in?like to do this as a Christmas present, and honestly im tired of having to start her car at midnight.its getting cold here in Oregon..were should i start ? thanks mike..........

How about the weather lately...I'm in Oly Wa. All the snow....and JEEZE, cold.
