Hey gues got another question, i finished the installation of my viper 791xv, i was wondering hwo i would connect that to my defroger and also is there a way i can make the car think that the door opend and closed so the radio will shut off after remote start or is there another way of doing this.

For the defogger I would go right to the factory relay, use the output of the 791 to a relay that trips the factory defogger relay. The defogger light in the cab won’t come on but the defogger will be working. As for the radio you could set-up another relay again off of a 791 output but this time cut the acc wire to the radio hook up one side to pin #30 and the other to 87a with nothing on 87, that way win the 791 is active the radio doesn’t have power.

thanks , but in that case if i come out of remote start and unlock and lock the radio will shut shut off i take it?

Nope you will have power when the R/S is off but as it runs the relay will be open cutting the feed to the ACC wire of the radio.

Also use the defogger lead from the 791 to trip the radio relay. You can split it to run the defogger and the radio relays.
