i need to find the tach wire for a 2003 bmw 525i my info says diagnostic plug under hood it would be nice if the big round plug was there like every other beemer ive done tanx

hi,

try the data link connector under the drivers side dash....black wire if i recall correctly.

tanx for the quick reply know i have another problem i installed a avital 4300 dei everything works exept remote start all it does it just clicks the starter i reprogramed tach i also increased the starter output from .6 to .8 so i said 1.2 and nothing car starts fine with the key any help
