Hi, i'm putting a pkg7 into a 2006 cobalt.  It has the harness for r-code, but it's missing the 5 pin harness with the RED / white and green wires i need for the 12 volt output and data output.  Do I need these wires?  It doesn't have keyless entry, if that helps.  Or is this harness hidden somewhere and i'm totally missing it?

You aren't looking close enough. The black plug that has those wires in it, is there, but it isn't right next to the green plug.

I still can't find these wires for the life of me.  Can you tell me the general area of this plug, like maybe what it's near?

Nm, it's an 05 cobalt.  That probably makes a difference, and it's probably passlock 2.

Yup. The PKG7 module won't work on a 2005. You need a module like a PLXR that does Passlock II when the car has no starter wire.
