How difficult would it be to add a glass break detector to a Viper 550ESP, and a Viper 790XV. Also would like to install a piezo siren on both systems. One is in a 2004 Dodge Ram(550ESP), and the other is in a 2007 Toyota Corolla Sport (790XV).

okay, if you are buying a dei glass break sensor, then it is straight up plug and play and will literally takes you seconds. (if you know how to access the alarm brain)
Because the DEI glass break sensor has a harness that splits into a Y. One part hooks up the shock sensor, the other glass break sensor. Then they go to the brain.
If you dont understand what im saying, just buy the 506T and u will understand 100%. (trust me, even a baby could do it EMPHASIZING HOW EASY IT IS)
About your piezo siren, you might have to hook up a relay (im worried about the amperage drawn by 2 siren). Someone might say that you dont need a relay, but just go the safe route of using a relay.
Brown wire of alarm (on both unit) goes to a relay like this
85- brown wire
86- ground
87- 12v
30- to your regular siren and your piezo siren
If you are confused about the relay and what i am talking about, just split a wire from the brown onto the red wire of the piezo siren and ground the black wire. And your done.
Go out and buy the supplies and look at it. It is going to be common sense after you see it.

Got both sensors in with no problems, You were right about the easy part. One siren down,one to go. Thanks for the great input.

Was hooking sirens up to relay as you described, and upon completion I went to test and got no results from sirens. I opened the door and armed it with the door open, and all I got was a clicking in the alarm brain. I tried going back to the way it was prior to relay and still get the same results. No sound from siren. Any ideas as what may be wrong or what's up?

using the same brown wire to ouput two sirens will be fine.
the above method w/ relay should work. i dont see why not.

I tried checking for current (test light) while alarm was tripped, but showed no signs of current from brown wire. All I get is this clicking noise from inside the brain. ( Viper 550ESP) Everything else is working fine. (Remote start, Lights, After market doorlocks. acuators) The harness I'm using has a diode that goes from the 85 to 86 terminals. The stripe is on the 86 side. My question earlier: Why would it click? I went back to the original connections minus relay, and all it does now is click in module. (1 siren) No sound.
