Hello i have a 2001 silverado 2500 hd. It has a remote start in it valet 552t. My question is when i start the truck with the remote start then go to get into the truck the security light is on. The truck runs fine, the light says on until i shut it off. Restart with the key no light. Thanks Norm

What kind of igntion bypass was used to bypass passlock II?

YOu have a Passlock issue where the module isn't sending the proper R-Code to the Passlock computer and this causes the vehicle to start but throws a dummy light on the dash. Reprogram the module or replace the module and see if the problems persists.
