I tapped into the headlight wire, the yellow and green at the switch. When I ground the relay I installed, it turns the headlights on when the switch is off, with the switch on, the lights do come on. I know my relay works. I think it has to do with the auto headlight feature. I need to tap into the wire after the auto off relay or BCM, wherever the feature is managed. Any ideas?
thanks
I tapped into the reverse light relay, diode isolated it, added a relay. Whenever I arm or disarm the system, they come on for 30 seconds. I am trying to do the same for the headlights, but ran into this little bump??!!!

I posted a week or so about the headlight wire. DEI called for a different wire that didnt work when the switch was off. Now, I have illuminated entry with the headlights and reverse lights. The headlight wire is a negative trigger. It is a light GREEN/ red. I found it right before it goes through the firewall from the bcm to the relay next to the battery.
just some FYI
