will this car remote start w/o tripping the factory alarm? if you have to run wires into the drivers door how bad on a scale of 1-10 is it? i pulled up tech info on audiovox site and it says unlock will not work with ignition on, so i take it there is no way to make the aftermarket system unlock the vehicle while it is remote started?

by the way, the car will unlock after it is started with aftermarket remotes. mauri197 said no problem with door but i had a huge problem i rate it an 8.   Also make sure you have a good bypass. wrapping the ring around ign will not work for this car as you have to splice into factory immobilizer. in all the car is quite easy though. It will take you longer to take the dash off and put it back on then it will to put in the r/s!

Key in a box will work fine and work using the aftermarket transponder ring. It just has to be on the outher most part of the key cyclinder. I usually just hot glue the ring in place so it doesnt move or lose its place and they work 100% of the time.
