Ive done many remote starts on automatics but this will be my first on a manual. Im assuming there is a switch on the clutch pedal like the brake pedal that shows 12V. the neutral saftey wire is going to connet to neutral on the shifter and then im going to add an additional relay for the e-brake. is this right? How about the clutch? Any other suggestions for saftey on the remote start?

You got most of the ideas and on the right track.

Suggestions:

-Make sure you get a unit for Manual Transmission.
-E-brake connection is require. (negative polarity)
-Door trigger is require. (RED / white) negative polarity
-Clutch bypass. @ clutch pedal - negative polarity

Test all your wires just to be sure!

For safety:

Just incase your cat or dog or a child shift the vehicle in gear when you were sleeping.

If the door is open after it is setup for remote start. Remote start won't activate. Therefore, the safety sequence precedure has to be reset again.
