Dome circuit is probably hooked up wrong and messed up blowing the illumination on the radio... as for the brake issue... That just plain sounds like installer error, and if they don't back up their work - hmmm get mad and rais a ruccus when they're busy.... bet you get your way!

and start to start the car with the remote you don't even need the keys to drive it. you have to use the remote to turn it off, but if you start it with the keys you can turn it off normal lol messed up!

see if you have brake lights. it sounds like either you do not have them hooked up or you have a bad switch.

as for your other problem, check all fuses and make sure you got power in and out of the fuses. you may have a bad radio by chance and not even related.  was the radio working when the car was picked up after installation of remote start?

ok well if you tagged the WHITE/ tan wire coming off of the brake switch then you tagged the right wire.....but if you didnt tag that wire then you got  the wrong one.......if your brake switch was not locked back into its mount properly the brake lights would stay on all the time......so it sounds like you you didnt tag the right wire......but ive been wrong before
