just wanted to know what type of locking mechanism are on the bmw's are they a vacuum, positive, negative??? also do I need to have relays when installing a viper alarm..please help!!! Don't flag

They will vary from model to model and year to year. Some of the older ones required an actuator be installed in the driver's door. If you post the exact model and year, someone here will probably be able to answer this question for you.
