I am having an issue with my alarm. The alarm is a SpySystem with RS. It was in an Accord I had a few months ago that was rearended. The alarm was in the Accord for a few weeks and worked perfect. After the accident I took it out and just installed it in my truck. Everything seems to be working perfect EXCEPT after being armed for like 30-45 min. the alarm is automatically triggered. After being disarmed and ignition on the alarm tells me that the door trigger is what set off the alarm. Is there something with the factory alarm that needs to be bypassed??

You need to diode isolate the wires...the BCM is sending a pulse when it shuts down that the alarm is interpreting as an open door. There are many threads on this forum that explain how this is accomplished.

They are both Drivers and Passenger side Diode Isolated.

Well found the problem. The wiring diagrams found on this site and a few others were wrong for my specific truck. They say the Passenger Door trigger should be the Orange wire (B2) but in my case it was not. Orange was not B2 like stated. So for future reference just be sure the Passenger Door trigger is used from the B2 wire and don't really go by the color code given.
