2006 silverado, domelight, relay?

I am installing a alarm on a 2006 silverado. My alarm has a negative output for the dome light. do i need a relay? my dome is a neg trigger

Are you trying to do domelight supervision? If so, the wire you need to connect to is a (+) trigger. It is grey/black at the BCM, black plug, pin E. You will need a relay. You can also connect the (-) output directly to a true door trigger wire (located at a door module), and you need to make sure it is on the correct side of the diode that gets added to isolate the door triggers.

For dome supervision use the blue/white (-) @ the headlight switch.. It is the only "true" dome sup wire and it only draws approx 10mA which any output will cover. If your looking for the door trigger, you want the gray/black (+) to the left of the fusebox.
