Been pulling my hair out for hours and have found out what I need to know but now I need to know how to do it    the problems that I am having is wiring the locks and the second ignition . This starter comes with a starter out that goes to ground on the crank so do I just need the 180 resistor in line without a relay?also can I do the same with the locks or not?I have done some research and have found different opinions and any help would be appreciated   thanks. (ps if I do need relays diagrams would be great )  thanks

It all depends on your remote starter system. I use the Compustar systems and I don't use a relay for the door locks or the 2nd starter output. You will need to test this for the system your installing by first not using relays nd if it works, time after time, then your good to go. I have not had any problems with any of the customer's vehicles not starting because it didn't trigger the 2nd starter wire from the Compustar unit.

Ok, the starter relay wires like this, 86 to 12volts, 85 to the RS ground out during crank, 87 to the PURPLE / brown starter wire, 30 to ground thru a 180ohm resistor.

For locks, wire two relays like this, 86 to 12volts, one 85 to the lock and one 85 to the unlock

outputs on your alarm, 30 to ground, On the lock relay, add a 5.3k resistor to 87, and on the

unlock relay add a 2.0k resistor to 87. Tie the two resistors together at the end away from the relay and

 connect to
