I have not completed my install on my 85 corvette yet, but the picture quality is ok. It is similar to most "free with the plan" camera phones, (except razr). The image isn't exactly blurry, but has low contrast i think. I took a pic of myself and it was recognizable. also I am trying to find out how to get a strobe or flash to go off for a better pic at night. I don't know about range yet, I haven't thoroughly tested it, but while I was bench testing it in my house, I was able to get a signal from about a block away (I was outside, unit was inside, way inside). I'll post more as I learn more.

Ive had it for some time now...  its ok.  you really need to decide if range is critical.  This thing gets relatively weak range.  there is no advertisement or specification, just a bleak reference to 1500'.  The picture quality is good, but the display brings ip a blue screen and you need to reset the remote, or check status a few times to bring it back to operable.  range is not quite good enough because by the time you are close enough to take a picture, and recieve it,  you can probably see your car, or easily relocate yourself to do so.  Dei is more reliable, better designed IMO, and can have better range, model specific.
