Looking at installing a remote start in my sons truck this weekend and was wondering if I could pick a few brains before I start. He bought the DesignTech two way model 20092 and after looking at DesignTech's web site under there install tips they talk about high current draw blowers. Has anyone had any problems with this truck and the heater motors? Anyway, all the tip's and hints are much appreciated. Thanks

Been using that model and the relatives years b4 that model and absolutely love those units.. never had a problem with them, very easy to install and easy to program and they have a lot of customizable features that leave DEI far behind. The remotes seem to handle typical abuse much better than DEI's also.. still using my system 3 years later and flawless op's

What is the best place to mount a antenna for the Autopage RS860? Is it better to have it pointing up or down or doesn't it matter. Thanks

WITHOUT FACTORY KEYLESS, This is a rest at ground Door Locking System and you MUST get the lock and unlock wires in the PASSENGER KICK PANEL (Parking Brake Braket is in the way) you MUST also TEST for SWITCH and MOTOR wires ONLY with the DRIVERS DOOR SWITCH. On this type of  System you MUST TEST from the DRIVERS DOOR Switch only when testing for SWITCH and MOTOR wires.

When wiring in the brown acc. wire from the autopage do I need to use and extra relay to run the blower motor. I thought that I saw on the forum that the older Ford's draw allot of current when the heater blower in on? Thanks
