Subject: Are DEI remotes covered under warranty?

Hello...

I was curious if anyone knew whether remotes are covered under DEI warranties (for Viper, etc). I've heard that the brain is covered, you just have to send it back. My remote seems to be finally dying, though, and I don't have any receipts. I've replaced the battery, and it's being very finicky.

Thanks!

yes they are covered for 1 year... you will need a bill showing it was installed by the dealer less than 1 year earlier.....

if it wasn't installed by the dealer then there would be no warranty anyway....
