I have a 95 Chevy Tahoe 4 door with the rear barn doors. The power lock feature will not work on rear door. The front 4 doors can be locked and unlocked from either the remote or the door switch, but the back will not work from either location. If I stay quiet and press the "rear" button on the remote I can hear a clicking under the front dash, but no sound from the door. Are there any relays I could check? I cleaned the contacts to the door and ran a voltage check at the pins and found a pin the changed voltage when the lock button was pressed but it moved less than a volt (although it could have just been faster than my meter would pick up). I figure it is probably the actuator but I thought I would check before I dig into that project (I hate tearing doors apart). Thanks.

Check the lock mechanism in the rear door....all of the door locks are controlled up front.

Does it work with the OE switch?

If you hear the clicking then the relay is working so i think most likely its the actuator. Did you check to see if the switch is getting power. when you press the button the black wire should send a postive to the back to open the door.If you hold the button down it should throw a positive. check that first.

I'm fairly sure it has to be the actuator. It does not work with the OE switch or the factory fob. (It clicks up front but doesn't make any sounds at the door). I'll have to try and unplug the actuator if I can get my hand in there and check for voltage at the plug. I had the back cover off to see how easy it would be to get at the actuator...I just couldn't find any bolts to "unmount" the thing. I guess my question was really if the body controller is getting and processing the signal for unlocking the door and the relay is clicking implying that it is getting the signal, is there anyway that the relay just wasn't passing enough current. It sounds like everyone is in agreement that the actuator is bad and needs replaced. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for your help.
