06 GMC Sierra, Viper 5900, DEI 457G. When I press on the brake pedal is it setting off the alarm. When I let off the pedal, it all stops.  Other then this, everything else works perfect.

is your + trigger wire for the doors accidently hooked up to the brake pedal.  that happened to me before due to the fact the colors were similar.

No, I have everything unplugged except the main harness to the viper and it still sets off the siren.

did anyone else touch your car while you were one lunch or anything, cause it sounds like a joke from another installer.

No, my truck is in my garage. No one else has looked at it.  Today I am going to reground the alarm and tap a diferent power source to see if this changes anything.

Yes, and it works. Everything works, just can't figure this out.

your brake input wire is a thin gauge brown and your siren output is a brown just not as thin,  any chance you accidentaly hooked you siren to your brake wire?

No, I triple hecked that.  I moved my ground and power wires to new loctions and all is fine.  Guess the fuse panel is not a good place to go.

yes a bad ground would definetly cause an alarm to go haywire. grounds are very very important.
