Hi all, just wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for this vehicle. I had an appointment to have a Clifford Matrix RSX50.5 installed, but I removed a compustar RS unit from my wife's old car and found all of the wiring just wrapped and taped around the wires that they were spliced into. nothing but tape! To say I was a little upset is an understatement. I cancelled the appointment and telling the guy behind the counter that he/they were a bunch of hacks made me feel better. But now I am gonna do this myself. I was heavily into car audio years ago and feel confident that I can do this. I just can't find a wiring diagram.
Thanks,
Larzzzz

It is a CM-4200 v.2 with 4 button remotes. Will this thing be doing tricks when I'm done messing with it? Thanks for the offer, I hope it works.
Thank God I scrounged around some more and found wiring Diagram on what was page 32 of this forum....it wasn't in the d/l section. Life is good

Thanks Kar for the wiring diagram, but which vehicle is it for? If it's the Tacoma, it is referencing engine sizes that aren't in this truck. I did find one for the 06 Tacoma already, but thanks for your reply. The Compustar I ranted about is going to go in the wife's new car, a 2000 Buick LeSabre.

Will the dei 555xw work for an 06 tacoma? I Really don't like the thought of having to use a key to install in a bypass module. Thanks Larzzzz

Hi all, Happy new year. I've come accross 2 wiring diagrams here for the 06 Tacoma. Could someone please tell me which is the correct one? On this link; https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=87353&KW=06+tacoma KarTuneMan posted a reply to my post here, but notes reference engine sizes that aren't what I have (4.0)
On this link, there is another; https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=83234&KW=06+tacoma
So, which is the correct one? Thanks, and I hope we all had a New years we can remember Larzzzz

They are both right, just have some discrepenacies between them. The first link is a Directechs and the 2nd is a Wire Magic. Use both and test with a DMM for wires and locations that differ.

I had a Clifford 50.5x rs/ alarm installed in my toyota tacoma dbl cab. Is it possible to use the factory key fob to arm and disarm the alarm while also operating the locks? I don't care about the rs with the factory fobs, i just want a backup.
Thanks, Larzzzz

For your key override just use the Key Override SL. This one works without having to ruin a key. I have an '05 Tacoma and it works just fine with my Autopage 860LCD. It will work with any alarm that has a ground during start wire. Here's a link https://www.audiowarehouse.peachhost.com/ct_PRkey-override-sl.htm
