I did a search and I couldn't find the answer for my generation civic - which wire is it on the harness that I need to splice into? My multimeter died, so I'm helpless on that until I get a new one. And, as most others - is it still the pulsed activation? Thanks

My friend used to have a 92 Civic, and I hooked up rear defrost for him. If I remember correctly it was a (+) trigger at the switch. It needed a constant +12v, not a pulsed signal. I don't remember the color.

I'm lookin at the diagram and there is one wire going into the switch, a blk-yel that bridges to the indicator light and then to the timer circuit(which comes from the fusebox), and then there are two wires comming out of the timer circuit, a blu/yel(which is said to go to the defog relay u/h f/b) and a blk wire(some junction connection).

The viper has a latched 10min output, so, would you remember if it was a wire with a stripe or not? I would assume its the relay wire... am I correct on that?

I tested directly at the switch and connected there. It had to of been 4 years ago....I don't remember that far back.

Astro shows it blue / YELLOW at the switch. You need a "latched" pulse 6 to 8 min.
