I fell like an IDIOT......doen HUNDREDS of remote starts and alarms. This is my first time using the compustar product. I know I am missing something simple. I am using the CM1000 as a simple keyless entry on a 2003 Toyota Rav4 with NO factory security. Got 12v, got Ign. got the parking lights, got the PROPER ground, built in lock relays...piece of cake. I have toggled the key 5 times as instructed....the remotes will NOT program. Can anyone help me? And YES....you can call me stupid.  For laughs, I hooked up the LED...it pulses steadily. No change during start. Start the rig...it continues to pulse.

Here we go all you compustar guys .....specially the guys that have trouble programming remotes.

Since none of us are as fast as greased lighting...after completing 99% of your install (everything but the Ign. output from the unit) Strip yourself a little "patch" of constant 12v, tap your ignition input to the 12v 5 times REAL FAST. This will get you into transmitter programming mode. Push the buttons on all the transmitters to be learned, let them get recognized. After that, hook the ign. input back up to the ignition of the vehicle.  I don't think even superman is fast enough to toggle the ignition five times that fast......

Problem solved, thank you gentlemen !!!
