i just installed a combo alarm and starter crimestopper cs2011 to my uncle 02 Honda civic ...and according to instruction book I have diode connect in between alarm unit wire and the car door lock wire but it will not work either I try any side of diode I follow manual book and this forum instruction but it won't work when diode connected and just work without it...Can any expert please help me B/c I'm afraid It could harm the brain of car or brain of alarm unit

It is not necessary to install any diodes for door lock or unlock. They are straight negative trigger.

POWER LOCK WHITE/ BLUE (TYPE B)   IN GRAY PLUG, ABOVE DRIVERS KICK PANEL     
POWER UNLOCK WHITE/ GREEN (TYPE B)   IN GRAY PLUG, ABOVE DRIVERS KICK PANEL


if your unit has straight neg lock outputs hook directly to it no diodes needed

Thanks for respond...I did hooked it up and it works fine. Just not so sure if it Ok to leave that way...
