I have had the 791xv for over a year now and it's been great but today the car started doing something odd. The engine doesn't turn off regardless if the key is turned to the off position and then removed even without using the remote start or turbo timer feature. I have to pull the fuel pump relay to kill fuel in order to stop the engine.

Any ideas?

could be ignition switch is worn out- or try to park the car do valet take over (star button twice) for remote start mode take key out and shut down with the remote.

I tried that, same thing either way.

The engine just keeps running with or without the key or alarm remote start/timer function.

Yes, it is.

I can start it with the key or remote but I can't shut it down.
