Unit works fine untill cold weather. Now when the nights are below freezing, activating the remote turns the starter but the engine doesn't catch.
Have in default Tach Checking type, engine checking on,
crank time .6 sec.

Should I just increase the crank time increments?

If you have it set to tach sensing, the crank time has no effect. The crank time setting is only used when it is set to voltage sensing.

You can either:
Change it to voltage sensing, and then try different crank times.
or
Leave it on tach sensing, but try relearning tach with the RPMs at a higher level. I would try around 1500 RPMs. Start car...tep on gas slightly to raise RPMs, press and release programming button.

It would also help if you listed what you have for a car, and what you used for a tach wire.
