Hey guys how do you program the valet 561t add on remote start  to accept lock, unlock, then lock as the remote start input. Basically how do you determine what the activation input is. thanx

you cant! the remote start gets its siganl from 1 wire connection, all you can do is program it for # of times you hit the lock ( or unlock) button
the 2 different activation inputs are for varied applications, depending on whether the wire you are using to signal r.s. is neg (aux channel on most alarms)or pos( drivers door lock motor wires in vehicles)the other lock wires are for tying into factory door locks for keyless entry

I would not concern yourself with the door lock outputs, these are only good if you want ignition controlled locking and unlocking and most vehicles come with this type of option from the factory.

To have it accept the lock, unlock, lock you would need to tap into both the lock and unlock legs of the actuators, and diode them from each other using the positive activation input wire. Why would you want this sequence? I just use the door lock actuator leg to activate the unit set at 3 pulses.

thats weird i used to have a audiovox add on remote start in a 2004 accord and it would only start if i pressed lock then unlock then lock. no other combo would start it. it was installed in a shop. thats why i was asking about this one.thanx

was more than likely a wiring feature of the audiovox, the problem with wiring it the way twelvoltz suggests(which would work) is it would still be set to remote start on 3 input pulses so , pressing lock or unlock 3 times would give the same results ( activating starter)but as twelvoltz says i would just hook to lock wire and set up for 3 pulses( no accidental starting, cause your not gonna accidently hit lock 3 times! LOL)
