Im sure this has been asked many times before but my searches has come up with nothing. Has anyone built their own Clifford Cliffnet Cable? If so... is there a schematic and a parts list that can be sent to me? I have a friend that works at a electronics shop and can get me whatever parts I need. My Email is gaarder@cfl.rr.com   I hope someone can help...

It more than likely has a proprietary chip (or at least the software on the chip) in the box that is in the middle of the cable.

For the $40 you can get it for on eBay is it really worth the time and effort?
