04 chev Blazer intermindent non-start like dead batt.Ideas??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have a 04 balzer 2wd and not trail blazer, that acts for all the world like the batt is dead. But isn't.Never had any issues with this ride till this yr.So never realy bothered with it.Don't even know much about if it has a factory sec system stock.Bought it second hand and at 1 time did have some kind of after market sound system components.Found where they removed the system and cut wires of after market system in the removal process.Did searchs and found some tech on the factory sec systems and will be goin over the ride weather permitting. But just thought i'd get a jump and see if anyone has ideas in the meantime.
Some factory sec systems allow vehicle to start or turn over but stop seconds later.Which is what this has done a few times. The batts test out fine and 1 is brand new to eliminate that thought.Alt is testing fine both in the car and out by the 4 local advance and auto zones.only 105 amps so plan to upgrade later.(personal preff there). So have basicaly narrowed it down to either unknown sec issues or ignition issues which is still a broad field each in their own regard.
Thanx in advance ....Bill

Check the passlock wires and make sure they're connected properly.

Seriously  there Ianman TY for trying.  I am working on identifying what potential passlock system is in this thing.I have the Haynes manual as well as some specs from online.Which by the way if they turn out to be relevant to the car I will try ta pass them on to the 12volt to add to their  data base on car wireing.

The bummer about the VATS or Passlock systems is that they require specific keys to function.Almost dealership items.Well  if theres a VATS or Passlock system actually still in this car it's been bypassed.I have wall-mart cut keys man.No idea what the proper keys for the vehicle should be.YET.Time and patience will prevail.

Again man TY for the try was begining ta think NOONE was gonna bother.Keep the ideas coming people.

what exactly is the problem symptoms? if it has anything to do with the passlock, when you start the vehicle, it will crank but not start, and the security light will flash slowly. if you have a no crank no start with all the lights on the dash powering up, i would say it is not passlock related. if you have no lights on the dash, I would say there is a bad connection at one of the following: battery ends power or ground, starter, or power distribution box feed. If all of these look good and no aftermarket hackjobs under the dash, i would say it was a bad ignition switch. good luck and hope this helps...
