im putting a dei 562t in an 06 camry le today. can i hook the dome supervision wire directly at the key light switch

DOMELIGHT SUPERVISION GREEN/ RED (-), @ IGNITION KEY CYLINDER LIGHT

do i need to put a relay in it or can i just leave it. or does the dome come on with unlock?

the car is not here yet thats why im asking.

It's a low power draw, you could get away with not putting one in.

used the driver door pin  in the driver kick panel   the color is RED / green (-) low power  no need relais

If you use the GREEN/ red at the key cylinder you WILL need a relay, it is NOT low current.

ok i did not hook dome sup up. i also could no find the neg trigger trunk pop- they are using the factory remote anyway. for the auto headlights to shut off at night with the fact remote. They really just wanted the remote start, and lock/unlock.

also- how do yo test for a draw on a circuit to see if it needs a relay or not?

Here's how to test for draw on a craftsman multimeter:

Normally the black wire on the meter is plugged into the center...move it over to the hole on the very left. Turn the meter to amperage mode. Cut the wire you are testing and put it across the leds of the meter. Activate the circuit.

Now let's say it's a trunk pop for instance.....check the manual of the alarm system and see how much current the output is, if it's below the reading on the meter you need a relay.

I'm sure I could have been more detailed but I'm also sure you get the picture by now.
