have most of my remote start installed, still cant find a tach wire, when testing for a tach wire will the readout go up when i step on the gas?

This what I have for your car:

TACH       BROWN / RED       @ DIAGNOSTIC PLUG UNDER DRIVER DASH

=/ no BROWN / red on the port. i do have a blue thats reading arond 5 but it reads that with the key truned to on befor starting, and stays power for about 3 sec after truning the car off. could this be it?

No, that wouldn't be it. You should see 0V when not running and between 1.5 and 6V when running. The voltage will fluctuate with the engine RPM.

thank you, got one off the back of the cluster, now i just need to find out how to get the rear defrost to come on with the start and its good to go, thankz for all the help.
