My question is-
can you mix and match compustar remotes base on fm or am frequency.
I currently have the 2W900FMR (i assume it means 2-way FM frequency Remote)
can any other FM frequency remote work? (asking if i need to replace the antenna)

I want the 1WSHR and the 2WSHR.(what does the S&H mean?)

I know you can do it with dei, compustar im not sure.

If you change the remotes....you also need to change the antenna. One of the coolest features of compustar....you don't need to change the brain...!

SH means Super Heterodyne and it operates at 433 MHz AM. Your current system uses 900 MHz FM. You will need to change the antenna as well.

Why would you want to switch from a 3000 feet system to a 1500 feet system?

with ultra start if it's FM can program any fm fob without changing the antenna...

The 433MHz is Canada's frequency and goes up to 6000 feet.
