This is the second time I've had this problem now. I had a previous thread on this topic in June, but it has been locked so I can't edit it.
My alarm went off this morning every few minutes until I just had to leave it off. It was showing the door lock as the trigger. I got to work and its doing it here as well. Could moisture trigger this? Its been raining all night and it's all I can think of. the las time this happened it went away on it own. Now its back.
Original thread below

I have a 2WSS alarm insatlled im my 02 Acura RSX Type-S. While at work tonight the alarm went off, so I went to the window to have a look, nothing there, reset the alarm. About 20 seconds later it went off again, this time I went out to check and there is nothing even near it. It goes off again as I'm standing by the car, so I turned of the shock sensor, thinking it was the cause somehow. That didn't work as it went off 2 more times while I stood there. I have no other accessories or modules. I have to only lock with the key for now until I figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yah, if it shows a door trigger then you probably need to double diode isolate your door pins from the BCM. The body computer is going to sleep and changing pin states with the door triggers causing a false to the alarm. This is one possibility.

I actually have the exact year and model car that the original poster has. I have a 2W900FM-AS in it. What you posted is not the problem.

are you tied into door pins or domelight? If domelight, try disconnecting it (while it is acting up) see if the problem stops. If it does make the domelight trigger and power the relay. Very low outputs can trigger an alarm but it isnt enough to power a relay. If door pins try disconnecting both. If problem stops connect passenger one first. Then driver. If problem starts again disconnect passenger. Then if it continues you know it is driver door causing the problem. Then go from there. ------------- Street Dreams Car Club

Car has been armed for about 4 hrs now and no alarms. No idea why. I guess I can live with this if it only happens every 6 months

What is the remote control telling you is triggered ? Hood, door, trunk ??

Which can also mean the hood pin I believe. I used factory hood wire when installing.

If the OEM hood wire is casuing you grief, then I would run a new wire to a pin switch under the hood that you install. Make sure that it's not in the rain channel where water will cause false alarms.
