I did one a few weeks ago and it wouldn't stay running until I connected the tach wire,I usually try tachless first because it's faster.

Looks pretty good I didn't double check all the pins but I assume you got those from a data sheet they should be fine. This is the only thing I would change:

"(2) Red: +12V Power Input Wires (30A Fused): - Connects to RED / White at IGN Harness"

Tie one of the red into the other red, BEFORE the fuse so that both reds are protected by a single fuse, and downgrade the 30a fuse to a 15 or 20 amp. Then tie your constant power into the thick red @ the red connector @ the bcm, or a thick red or RED / black in the drivers kick.

Also it's probably easier to grab the wires in the drivers kick rather than the BCM. Little more room to work. Also tach wire I would try without first I've never hooked one up on a G6 and haven't had any issues.

Thanks Mike.. They may be easier to get to in the kick but will they be as easy to identify being that I got connector and pin numbers for the BCM location?

They will test the same way (you are testing these, not just going by pin #'s I hope?) and you only have 1 large harness rather than 4 different connectors at the BCM. Whatever your more comfortable with I've done both and the kick is definately easier to work with.

Sounds good. I'll look there first.

Yes, I test every wire.

Thanks!

Did this over the weekend. Very easy install. Took about 2.5 hours and that's fast for me so for others it may take under 2 hours..

Didn't have to hook up the tach..
