was wondering if anybody know how to bypass the clutch switch on a 1998 ford escort for a remote starter. It is a four wire plug at the top of the switch, and the car does not have cruise control.

BLACK/ red or Red (+) at the clutch switch harness. Make sure that you test these wire before trying to hook up 12 volts to the wire.

it is a ct 3260 prostart for manual transmissions i have the thing completly done except for the clutch switch. the switch has 4 wires going to it  all the wires have constant ground until you push the clutch then the white wire losses ground. (see my home made connectro pinout)

the wire colors are BROWN / yellow (large wire) green (smallwire) GREEN/ black (large wire)   white (small wire)

the white wire is the one that losses ground when the clutch is pushed

anyone ever do this before???
