Does any1 here deal with Design-tech for remote starts and/or alarms??

That's mostly a do-it-yourself product sold in discount stores. A few professional shops sell and install them, but not many.

However, most of us here have at least seen or installed one or two of them....what do you need to know?

I am instaling an add-on part # 25622 design-tech RS with DEI 457gw immobilizer in a 2002 chevy silverado and I can't get the thing to go into the program mode.

what wire do I pulse? do I pulse it with12v+ or neg ground?
