Just to clarify.......2001 dodge ram door locks , 4 wire reversal or 5 Wire Alternating (+) 12 V ??

If it doesn't have keyless entry it is 5 wire alternating https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#5w

If it does have keyless entry it is 1 wire system using different resistances on one wire to lock and unlock.
