I' just wondering if there is anything special that needs to be done to put power locks on a Caravan to include the side doors. Or would I be better to look for the factory ones for the side doors..

For the side doors you will need to add contacts the make contact when the door is closed. they are spring loaded contacts and you should be able to purchase then anywhere that you can buy door lock kits.

the factory contacts can be bought at the dealer for like $30 a side IIRC.

but i also recall seeing a complete kit that had the factory type contacts, Accele? TRC? It may have even been on this board too...

thats the kit and those are the contacts...

I was thumbing through a Spal catalog and they also has the OEM style contacts.
